The iAcadia App was written at Acadia University. In the Jodrey School of Computer Science. The project started out in the summer of 2009 with Ryan Wooden and Alex Sanford working under the direction of Dr. Darcy Benoit as part of the creation of the Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing Specialization. After a hiatus during the 2009-2010 school year, Ryan Wooden picked up the project for the summer of 2010 and finished the App. Runs on iPhone, iPod and iPad. IPad runs at native resolution.
